Spend 30 minutes with Purpose Craft Co-founder, Sarah Obenauer. In this Storytelling Workshop, we will walk through exercises getting down to the purpose of your organization. We will explore your why, key stories and themes of your work, and unwrap what makes your organization unique.

Exercise: Exploring Character
Character is the humanlike attributes and qualities that give your organization its unique personality. Knowing your character leads to easier decision-making, helping to mold your story. This module comes with materials to better understand and develop your organization’s character.

Exercise: Exploring Audience
You likely have very diverse audiences that you are appealing to including those you are looking to support, volunteers, individual donors, or large donors like foundations. This module comes with materials to better understand and develop your audience.

Deliverable: Our Story
We will discern and craft the language surrounding your organization to best tell your story, focus on your purpose, and showcase the unique aspects of what you do. This copy can be used on your website, your blog, across social media, and in any other materials that you produce.

Deliverable: Email Pitch
We all receive dozens, if not hundreds, of emails each day. A concise and compelling email pitch is absolutely necessary to stand out and connect with others in a meaningful way. We will create an impactful email pitch that you can tweak and use for each audience.

Deliverable: Social Media Content
Pinned social media posts stay at the top of your feed and establish brand consistency. They are yet another way to provide valuable content and share your personality with your audience. We will craft four different pinned social media posts that you can utilize on any of your platforms, changing sparingly throughout the year.
